Puppies

Our puppies are born and raised in our home and handled from day one. We believe that the more your pup is around people at an early age the better the dog will be all of their lives. We spend time with them every day and around the age of 3 weeks we start inviting others over to handle them as well. I teach piano lessons and my students, and their siblings love to come and spend time with the puppies. Of course, they are constantly supervised so that no pup is ever harmed by a child which could create fear or anxiety. We also have grandchildren and nieces and nephews that love to come and see the puppies as well as neighbors and friends of all ages. It is not uncommon for these puppies to have been visited and handled by as many as 75-100 people by the time they leave our home. Since many of our pups will also be hunting dogs, they are introduced to feathers and duck wings early on to encourage birdiness. At the age of 4 weeks the puppies are introduced to and spend time daily in crates. This helps tremendously when you take your pup home and he/she spends her first night in a crate by themself.

We only breed to males with exceptional credentials and all the health clearances so that we can produce pups that are equal to or even better than their parents. All of our pups come with a 26 month health guarantee; will have had their first vaccinations, vet check and wormings. We have shipped puppies all over the country with great success. The fee for shipping is determined a few weeks before shipping based on what the current airline fees and regulations are added to the price of a crate and an airline required health certificate.
